Creation Story
In the beginning all races lived in peace on Celestara.
Then came the NyxCharix (also known as the Nyx) from the sky and called down the stars upon the land of Celestara ripping the land apart creating the island continent Skylathar.
After the devastating attack, the Nyx left never to be seen again.
The Fey, being the more fragile folk, would have perished had it not been for the god Equinor the Eternal Arbiter, who at the darkest hour opened a gateway to the Feywild, a new land for the Fey to restart their civilisation.
But the disaster was not at its end.
For the attack of the Nyx had split open the very ground and awoken the Great Wyrm Vorthar the Worldeater.
The god of day, Sol the Dawnfather and the goddess of night, Nocturna the Nightbringer put aside their feud for the sky and joined forces for the first time in history to lead the remaining races against Vorthar.
Alas, The Worldeater was too strong a foe. Sol sacrificed his eyes and Nocturna her voice to create the race of Giants to combat Vorthar and they have been at war ever since.
The Gate of Daisies
Legend has it that the gate Equinor opened to the Feywild was made of daisies and in the rush to save the Fey, Equinor forgot to close the gate leaving a permanently stable gateway to the Feywild.
Over time, people of Skylathar started trading with the Fey and soon a trading post emerged only to become a village, then a town and so on until the mighty city of Daisygate arose.
in reality most people attribute the legend to the luck the city has had establishing itself as a trading power house of Skylathar.
Luck and lucky people are described as “having a daisy moment”, “blessed by the daisies” and similar. Indeed, it is used as a greeting as well: “Have a daisy day.”
